Program Limits
Each collection is limited to 70 lbs. of mixed household hazardous waste. Latex paint does not count towards the 70 lb. maximum. If you put out significantly more than 70 lbs. of waste, Clean Harbors may leave excess waste behind.
Each household is limited to one use of the program per calendar year.
We encourage residents conducting major clean-outs of hazardous materials to either retain the services of a hazardous waste company or take material to a household hazardous waste site (locations in Naperville, Rockford, Gurnee, Chicago).
