​​​Ride in Kane VAC Clinic Rides

Ride in Kane is teaming up with the Veterans Assistance Commission to offer free rides to local VA Clinics and the Veterans Treatment Court. Ride in Kane operates through Pace Suburban Bus to provide curb-to-curb, handicap accessible vehicles 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Just register with the Veterans Assistance Commission and we will take care of the rest! Once you are enrolled, you call to arrange your ride to the locations listed below. There is no charge for the ride and no cash fare is collected.

Ride in Kane is a paratransit transportation service providing curb-to-curb bus or taxi service to eligible Kane County residents. Veterans residing in Kane County who are enrolled in the VA Health Care system are eligible to receive roundtrip rides from their Kane County residence to the locations below:

Please be sure to attach a copy of a government-issued photo ID showing a Kane County address as well as a copy of your Veterans Health ID Card or other document verifying enrollment in the VA Health Care System.​ Alternatively, a paper registration form is available by calling our office at (630) 232-3550/3551.​

Additional Information

Registered riders will receive the Ride-in-Kane Rider's Guide which provides detailed information on scheduling a ride, including Pace phone numbers and the County's ride restrictions.

Ride in Kane​ is administered by Kane County Division of Transportation in partnership with Pace Suburban Bus, and local municipalities, townships, and social service agencies operating as local sponsors.
